Why Should They Care? Rethinking Library Marketing Through the User’s Eyes

Why do some library messages connect while others get scrolled past, ignored, or forgotten? Ignoring the various algorithms online, let's explore practical ways to use user experience, behavioral science, neuroscience, and authentic storytelling to create marketing that starts with people—not library services—and motivates action. You'll leave with simple strategies you can put to work right away, plus meaningful ways to measure whether your marketing is actually making a difference. From academic, special and public libraries to solo and large marketing departments, we'll dive into the riches of user experience to make our communication matter more.
