Panel Discussion: AI in Action- What Libraries Are Building, Testing, and Questioning
AI in libraries isn't hypothetical anymore — it's task forces, training programs, and hard questions about access. This panel brings together an ALA Library of the Future Award-winning library system and the AI consultant behind its staff and patron training, a public-university librarian leading AI literacy work across public-sector partners, and an open access expert unpacking what AI means for how research gets discovered. Moderated by Matt Enis, Editor at Library Journal, expect real programs, real friction points, and a candid look at where AI in libraries goes next.
